With a girlfriend outing date chosen, we needed to find somewhere special to celebrate a friends recent promotion. Bistro 22 came to mind and our plans were set.
Bistro 22 is a very small establishment, formerly a sub sandwich store. They have transformed it into an amazing, cozy place to have a nice evening out.
We were immediately greeted and taken to our table. We had reservations at the suggestion of a friend who had been just to insure we got a table. It got very full after our arrival and I am glad we had reservations.
We started with the truffle fries. These were so good. Covered in parmesan and garlic with truffle oil, these are a must if you go for dinner.
For our meals our group ended up with 2 of the smaller filets, the salmon, and the chicken alfredo. I had a medium rare filet. I will say hands down the best steak I have ever had. The salmon was an ample portion and the alfredo sauce was so creamy. We each tasted every dish.
Drinks we had a red wine, a mai-tai and a lemon drop martini. The drinks were superb.
We ended the evening with a dessert to split. We decided on the bread pudding and it was delicious. It came with a vanilla bean ice cream.
It was an amazing evening with the best of friends and I would highly recommend dining here for a romantic date, a girls night, or any special occasion, birthdays, anniversaries, promotions. I will say that the price point was a little high when perusing the menu, but after dining there I will say the entire experience was worth it. -

Needed dinner on the fly. Found this jewel. Wanted a light dinner. Wow! Did they provide! A poached pear salad that has a light and slightly sweet dressing. The spinach is fresh with a bit of bleu cheese and toasted shaved almonds. Delightful! I coupled the salad with a chicken and wild rice soup. The slightly peppery broth is hot and tasty. The wild rice still has the nuttiness that I really enjoy. I almost ordered the escargot but was reticent because so often it's just not prepared correctly. Next time, I'm getting it. They did not have my Coke Zero ....but.... they have a Brandy Ice which they made 1/2 the normal size for me. Thanks for personal touch. . Also, a friendly place. I dined alone. Some ladies at the table across from me engaged me and together we raved about Bistro22.

Small, cozy, intimate setting, this restaurant lives up to the positive buzz. It is very small so you will need to make a reservation. Despite the limited space the atmosphere feels intimate, not crowded. The service is always excellent, the servers are friendly and helpful. The food? Everything we've tried so far has been fantastic, stands out as easily the best we've had. You can't go wrong when ordering, try everything! Oh, they also offer full bar services.

The best spot in Edmond for quality food and drinks. I had the shrimp and it was so delicious, perfection really. We met another couple and even tho the place in small, we never felt rushed. We had apps, drinks, dinner and desert. It was like having dinner in Europe where it's wonderful food served over an evening with friends. The staff are great at pacing the food service & keeping drinks filled.
I would recommend reservations. -

Food was some of the best I've experienced locally. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was unprepared for the price tag. It ranges from 30-40+ dollars a plate. It's a wonderful place for a special occasion. It wasn't packed but I would make reservations just in case they get steady because it is very small. It only seats about 50 people.
